COVID-19 Information

We are happy to be fully open to all appointments now that the Coronavirus is under better control within our province. Please note our hours have changed. We are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday and from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday.

In order to keep everyone safe and to do our part in reducing the spread of the virus, we have instituted some changes to how we book appointments and to the procedures once you arrive for your appointment. 

We now require that all visits to the clinic be pre-booked, including picking up contact lenses or glasses and having your glasses adjusted. We can no longer accommodate walk-ins.

Everyone will be asked about any symptoms of illness and history of travel at the time of booking and when you arrive for your appointment. If you have any symptoms of illness, even if you believe it to be the common cold, or related to a pre-existing health condition; or have been travelling outside of the country within the previous two weeks, please advise us and we will rebook your appointment.

We also require that everyone wears a mask while inside the clinic (if you do not have one, one can be provided for $1.00) and that you wash your hands when you enter, even if you are wearing gloves. 

In order to keep to recommended physical distancing we are limiting the number of people in the clinic at any one time. As a result, we require that you come to your appointment on your own unless you require assistance such as a translator, needing physical, emotional, or cognitive support; or if you are a parent bringing your child for an examination. 

We do thorough disinfection between each patient, have hand sanitizer throughout the clinic and seating have been adjusted to allow for the correct physical distancing. Unfortunately, we have had to remove all magazines and children’s toys.
